A committee of the U.S. House of Representatives has approved an online gambling bill introduced by its chairman, Rep. Barney Frank (l.), that would legalize, tax and regulate online gaming in the United States. The bill favors U.S. land-based casino companies, as well as operators who have abided by the American ban on net wagering.
