PPB Energy Powers Parx
New Jersey company also operates HVAC at Borgata in Atlantic City and CityCenter in Las Vegas.
Energenic, a Mays Landing, New Jersey company, announced last week that its subsidiary, PPB Energy Partners LLC, is entering into a 15-year agreement with the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, to own and operate the Central Utility Plant, which will provide heating and cooling and emergency power to the new casino property.
Energenic is owned by DCO Energy and Marina Energy, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries.
The Central Utility Plant will become operational sometime this month, casino officials said. Parx replaces the old Philadelphia Park Casino & Racetrack. The New Jersey energy company also operates the heating and cooling system for the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
